A time to celebrate with family with an evening feast filled with seafood dishes, Italian Cookies, Panettone/Pandoro, Chestnuts, playing Tombola or Scopa and opening up presents at midnight.
New Year's Eve Cappodanno BUON ANNO!
Italy has several traditions in brining in the New Year with good fortune and prosperity. Traditionally eating Lentils to bring money, eating 12 grapes for luck (one for each month) and wearing new red underwear for love, luck and fertitlity.
